Functionality
Overview
You can switch between Carousel views by clicking the related buttons or use the Carousel as an image slider on touch devices. You can slide through the images horizontally or vertically.
The navigation area is customizable. By default, it consists of two arrow buttons that allow switching to the next or the previous view, and a set of circles that display your current position in the collection and can be used for navigation as well. If needed, you can add a row of thumbnails under the Carousel widget to simplify navigation. You can also adjust the scrolling speed of this widget.
Smooth switching
The images placed into the carousel can be switched smoothly and effortlessly with built-in navigation controls that are easily customizable.
Navigation types
By default, the navigation area is placed in the bottom right corner of the currently displayed picture. It contains circles that show the number of items and allow switching between them. You can also click the arrow buttons located to the right of the circles to display the next or the previous picture.
You can configure the navigation area if needed. There's a possibility to place the arrow buttons on the right and left sides of the displayed image. In case of mobile devices you can remove the navigation buttons and circles to navigate between elements by a swipe gesture.
Customizable navigation
You can use any appropriate Webix widget as a Carousel navigation area. For example, you can use JavaScript DataView with thumbnails of Carousel elements. The scrolling speed can also be adjusted.
